Not every GP is interested or experienced at handling injured workers and the Workers Compensation system. In fact, some actively try to avoid it. At Azure Medical we have a specialist interest in looking after Workers Compensation patients. So, if you’d like another opinion, please book a consult with one of our GP’s.
As an Employee, you need an accurate diagnosis and prognosis from the GP in order to recover and return to work after an injury. We have the experience and expertise to help you with the Workers Compensation process, your treatment, rehabilitation and the paperwork that comes with it. We aim to make your Injury Management and Return to Work as quick, efficient, stress-free and painless as possible.
For Employers, you will benefit from having GP’s at Azure Medical who have extensive knowledge of the Workers Compensation system and take an active interest in helping you to navigate what can be a frustrating and lengthy process. We will assist in preparing an Injury Management Plan to ensure that things don’t stagnate. Note that as an employer you must follow the Workcover WA regulations.
Across the Injury Management Process we will check you regularly to direct medical treatment, coordinate your care and review your progress and restrictions.
We are happy to have case conferences with your employer, insurer and rehabilitation advisors so that everyone is kept in the loop. Our professional service extends to completing a Progress Certificate of Capacity at each review. And when you are wholly recovered from your workplace injury, we will issue a Final Certificate of Capacity.
Payment is required at the time of the service. If an insurance claim number is presented, the administration team is able to forward the receipt of payment to your insurer for reimbursement.
