Emsella | Pelvic Floor Strengthening
Emsella by BTL Aesthetics treats incontinence and intimate discomfort without surgery or medication.
Emsella is a non-invasive, painless treatment option which can help to alleviate a wide range of intimate health conditions such as incontinence or intimate dysfunction in both men and women. Its technology causes deep pelvic floor stimulation to restore neuromuscular control.
How does it work?
The Emsella chair uses electromagnetic energy waves to stimulate the muscles of the pelvic floor. This type of treatment has been cleared by the FDA and TGA.
During a typical session, the patient sits on the chair fully clothed and the electromagnetic energy is delivered at a high frequency to the pelvic floor muscles, causing muscle stimulation. This in-depth muscle stimulation of the entire pelvic floor area is why the Emsella is so effective. With just a single session, the Emsella delivers thousands of intense contractions that aren’t possible to do on your own.
Treatment is quick, convenient and as there is no downtime, you can resume your daily activities straight away.
There is no downtime. You can resume your normal daily activities immediately after treatment.
You may observe improvement after a single session and will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks. You’ll see the best results after about six sessions, scheduled twice a week.
The Emsella has many advantages over traditional treatments:
● No downtime
● Patients remain fully clothed
● Restores bladder and pelvic muscle control
● Highly effective treatment with high satisfaction rates.
Some patients may be eligible to access the Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) to assist in the funding of their treatment.
